Main Responsibilities
Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and making final hiring decisions.
You may also collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and determine staffing needs.
Ensure that new employees have a smooth transition into the organization by conducting orientation programs, explaining company policies, and facilitating necessary paperwork.
Implementing performance management systems by setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching, and addressing performance-related issues.
Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
Act as a liaison between employees and management, ensuring fair treatment and fostering a positive work environment.
Participate in development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and best practices.
Communicate and enforce policies across the organization.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personal information, attendance, performance evaluations, and training records.
Generate reports and analyze HR data to provide insights for decision-making.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Perform other related clerical and administrative tasks
Competence and Skills:
- Good knowledge of labour law
- Problem-Solving and decision-making
- High proficient in Computer skills and experience of working with HRMS
- Proficient in using ERP, online/Web, MS applications (Word, Excel, power point).
- Excellent Verbal and written communication in English and Amharic
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualification and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management/ Management/ Busines Administration or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the same or similar HR positions is required
- Preferably worked in Technology Companies
